Applanix Corporation announces Marine Products Group and new hire

RICHMOND HILL, CANADA - Applanix Corporation is pleased to announce Peter Canter's appointment to the position of Director for Marine Products. Based in Toronto, Peter's efforts will be focused on integrating the marine division's operation with the world-class sales and support infrastructure currently in place for the company's Airborne and Land product groups. This expansion of resources and experience available to the marine division will further enhance the top quality service and support currently enjoyed by Applanix's marine customers. Applanix's world-class marine support continues to be directed by Peter Stewart, Marine Customer Support Manager.

Applanix's Houston office will continue as the hub of North American marine sales, with Scott Fusselman, VP Sales, North America, managing its operations.

As part of Applanix's continued commitment to the marine market, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Field as Marine Business Manager for International Operations. Bringing with him unparalleled experience in the marine industry, Mark will be based out of the United Kingdom, and will further enhance Applanix's ability to meet the needs of the marine market in an innovative and timely manner.

With marine engineering efforts based out of Applanix's headquarters in Toronto, Canada, marine product development efforts are continuing to benefit from the broad base of motion and navigation talent available in the company's engineering team. Development efforts are currently focused on significant enhancements to the POS MV system to ensure that the product line continues to build on its position as the leading survey instrumentation solution for Hydrographic professionals.
