Applanix Delivers POS MV and WaveMaster to Harvey-Lynch

RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO – Applanix Corporation announced today the sale of two new POS MV solutions to Harvey-Lynch Inc. of Houston, Texas. Harvey-Lynch intends to lease the Applanix POS MV WaveMaster and POS MV V-4 systems to its customers to operate in conjunction with their extensive line of new Reson sonar products.

POS MV and POS MV WaveMaster are tightly-coupled systems designed for use with multibeam sonar, enabling adherence to IHO (International Hydrographic Organization) standards under dynamic conditions. This user-friendly, turnkey technology provides highly accurate attitude, heading, heave, position, and velocity data, representing the latest in state-of-the-art inertial/GPS capabilities. POS MV and POS MV WaveMaster maintain positioning accuracy under extreme conditions, regardless of vessel dynamics. With their high data update rate, a full six degrees-of-freedom position and orientation solution is possible.
