2006 Applanix European User Meeting to be Held in Spain

RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO – This year’s annual Applanix European User Group Meeting will be held in Alcala DeHenares, Spain, just outside of Madrid. The three day event begins on March 7th, 2006, and will be hosted this year at the prestigious National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) Remote Sensing Service.

A number of special information and instructive dialogue sessions will centre upon Applanix’ Air and Land products. Topics will include an evaluation of the latest in Position and Orientation System (POS) technology, vehicle surveying concepts, a review of the new DSS 322 digital geospatial aerial imaging product, automated navigation, emergency preparation and response advantages, and a discussion of the benefits from combining high-quality color and CIR imagery with LIDAR. In addition, attendees will receive advanced POSPac user training and direct personal assistance with any specific production issues they may be experiencing. Guests are openly invited to share a detailed summary of their application experiences using Applanix solutions with their colleagues throughout the three day event.
